How to participate?
Eligibility criteria:
1. Registered business in Sri Lanka
2. Minimum monthly transaction volume of LKR 200,000
3. Willingness to promote crypto payment acceptance
4. Physical retail location or established online presence
Application process:
1. Complete the merchant application form
2. Submit business registration, location details, and transaction history
3. Assessment based on legitimacy, transaction potential, geographic coverage, and commitment to crypto adoption
Timeline:
- Application period: Starting 5 Nov, 2025
- Review process: 2 weeks after the application
- Merchant selection: Announced via official channels
- Device installation: Rolling deployment over 4–6 weeks
