Bybit is proud to announce a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, in partnership with Tether, aimed at supporting university students in South Africa. Through this program, students have the opportunity to win scholarships of up to $3,000 to advance their academic journey and future ambitions. This initiative reinforces Bybit’s commitment to education, youth empowerment, and inclusive technological growth across Africa, recognizing education as a foundation for innovation, social progress, and economic opportunity.
Event period: 2nd October, 2025- 10th December, 2025
How it works
1. Record a short video (maximum 3 minutes) introducing yourself, your university and your area of study.
2. Share how a scholarship from Bybit and Tether would support your academic and professional goals.
3. Post your video on X or TikTok with hashtags #CryptoArk and #Tether, tagging @BybitAfrica (X) or @Bybit.Africa (TikTok) and @Tether_to.
4. Submit your entry via the official link below.

Prize pool
- Grand winner: $3,000
- 2nd place: $2,000
- 3rd place: $1,000
- 4th – 50th place: $100 each
Scholarships can be applied toward tuition, research, or other academic-related expenses. Weekly winners will be announced on Bybit Africa’s social media platforms, with the grand winner revealed in the final week.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be a current student at an accredited university in South Africa
- Must submit an original video following the guidelines
- Must mention Bybit and Tether in the video
Selection criteria
- Creativity
- Authenticity
- Clarity of vision
- Presentation quality
- Video engagement (likes, shares, comments, etc.)
