We want to alert you to recent phishing attempts via SMS, falsely claiming that your Bybit account has been accessed from an unknown source and urging you to call a provided phone number. These messages are scams. Bybit has not experienced any data breaches, nor have we detected any compromised accounts linked to these fraudulent messages.

How to Identify a Phishing Scam

1. Fake Alerts & Urgent Warnings – Scammers may impersonate "Bybit Support" and claim there has been suspicious activity on your account.

2. Request to Call a Phone Number - These messages may ask you to contact Bybit using a phone number. Bybit does not offer phone support and will never ask you to call or disclose sensitive information via SMS.

3. Set Up an Anti-phishing Code – To prevent phishing attempts, we recommend enabling the Anti-phishing Code in your Bybit account settings. This feature ensures that all official emails and SMS from Bybit include your unique code, helping you verify their authenticity. If the code is missing or incorrect, the email or SMS may be fraudulent—do not click any links or take any action.
