As part of Bybit’s ongoing efforts to comply with regulatory requirements in EEA, we are updating how Bybit Card (EUR) services are delivered. These changes will take effect on Jan 1, 2026, and action is required before Dec 31, 2025 to avoid any interruption to your ability to make new transactions with your Bybit Card.
Depending on your residency status, the next steps differ. Please review the relevant instructions below.
If You Are an European Economic Area (EEA)* Resident
To continue using a Bybit Card for new transactions from Jan 1, 2026 onwards:
- Register a new account on Bybit EU
- Complete KYC verification on Bybit EU
- Once verified, apply for a Bybit EU Card
Please note: The Bybit EU Card is a new and separate card from your current Bybit Card. It offers exclusive new-user rewards not available on bybit.com, including special cashback and welcome airdrops (details below).
If You Are Not an EEA Resident
You can continue using Bybit Card services through bybit.com.
To apply for a new Bybit Card:
- Go to your Bybit Card Dashboard in the Bybit app
- Click “Add New Card”
- Follow the steps and complete KYC verification if required
- To support your transition, we’re offering complimentary currency conversion on EUR and PLN transactions with your new card, until further notice.
If Your Residency Has Changed (EEA ↔ Non-EEA)
If you are actually an EEA resident, please follow the EEA steps and apply for a Bybit EU Card.
If you are no longer an EEA resident, you may apply for a new card directly on the Bybit Card Dashboard via bybit.com app.
What Stays the Same
- Your earned Reward Points on bybit.com remain unchanged. We recommend enabling Auto Cashback so your Points convert automatically into token airdrops of your choice.
- The Bybit EU rewards market is independent. Points earned on bybit.com cannot be used on bybit.eu, and points earned on bybit.eu cannot be used on bybit.com.
- You can continue accessing your respective card dashboards (bybit.com or bybit.eu) to view past transactions and activity.
- Your access to your bybit.com account remains unchanged. The update applies solely to the way Card services are provided.
