We're introducing USDx— a clearer way to display your USDT balance on Bybit TradFi. This is a purely visual update designed to enhance transparency and accounting, with no changes to your actual holdings.
What is USDx?
USDx is an internal display unit that reflects the representative value of your USDT holdings in your TradFi account at a 1:1 ratio. This value is recorded in the platform ledger. USDx is not legal tender.
It is:
• not a fiat currency (e.g. USD);
• not a cryptocurrency or digital asset;
• non-transferable, non-redeemable and used solely for display and accounting purposes.
Why the change?
Many TradFi platforms show balances and P&L in USD-style formats. USDx aligns your USDT balance with that convention, making it easier to view and manage your funds at a glance. Your underlying holdings remain fully backed by USDT — with no fees, no conversions and no impact on custody.
By using TradFi, you agree to have your balance displayed in USDx for consistent presentation and accurate accounting.
To ensure the best experience, please update your app to version 5.1.0 or newer.
For more information, please refer to the FAQ here.
Disclaimer: USDx is a platform-only display tool offered under Infra Capital Limited. It does not represent fiat currency, cannot be transferred or redeemed for USD, and confers no legal, contractual or redemption rights. The market value of USDT may fluctuate against USD; USDx does not guarantee a fixed external value.
